Willie is officially clueless. What is the point to this lineup?

OMFG!!!!
That was the worse call ever by an umpire. How can a batter get rewarded for getting hit by a strike. What cuold he have possibly been telling Willie? I cant think of a viable explanation. Its the umpires judgment whether to call a strike if he's hit over the plate, but if you move into a pitch or dont try to get out of the way, everyone knows its called a ball. And he lunged into the pitch. It doesnt matter if youre trying to bunt. Ive never seen that before.

That's been the tune of this roadtrip so far: Reyes and Wright get on, the rest of the offense can't manage to do anything with it.

Well, at least we're being dominated by an All-Star tonight, and not some snot nosed kid up here having a cup of coffee...

Willie will argue an all-star grab yet he won't defend his starting pitcher??? Way to pick your fights.

I'm really getting sick of this stadium. It's one of the biggest jokes with that lame LF. I swear, T-ballers could jack one out of this park... come on Mets!

This is incredible; Pettite throws 4 straight balls to walk Woodward and then Offerman is up there bunting and lays down a 2-0 bunt. Top of the 8th and the Mets are bunting. Now here's Floyd...

What do you know... pitcher throws 6 balls to start an inning and strands a runner at 3rd. I swear, why does Willie keep making them bunt and thus really hurting the teams chances to score runs?!

In that situation I let Offerman, signed for his hitting ability, swing the bat. Normally I like small ball, but with the count so in your favor the bunt makes little sense to me. -------------------- "We Live, We Learn, We Teach"
