With all the baseball databases out there if you're into this kind of stuff it's probably a good buy. I'll be getting it soon.

this bookis full of lies. You do have to be experienced at things like Excel, perl, access, etc. If you are a novice, you are toast. Trust me, it took forever to figure out how to properly use the hacks, especially in MYSQL.
