Playoffs right around the corner. MLB opening day in less than a week. This is a great time of the year......

Let the playoffs begin!!! Let's go Sabres!!! Anything can happen in the east. The Caps have weak goal-tending. The Penguins are beatable. The Sabres have real chance this year to get to the finals. -------------------- ![]() |

I'll agree I think they've got a legit shot this season, best they've had in quite a while. I'm so sick of hearing about Syd and Ovie though it's ridiculous. If the Sabres can't win it then anyone but them or DET is ok by me. I guess the biggest down side is that down here in the south we don't get to watch a lot of hockey so I'll miss a majority of the playoffs. I'll only get to watch some of the weekend games. I can't wait for the matchups to start tonight, I'll be following them online of course but that's my only option lol. -------------------- |

as an islanders fan i feel pretty good about their future. they're a gritty team. but for the playoffs i'm hopping on the caps bandwagon

I do not agree with the idea that the Caps have weak goal tending. Theodore was unbeatable at one point this season (I know, I know.... He also had some rough patches....).
This is the playoffs. Like it or not, the Caps are THEE best team in the league. Book it (OMG I know this will come back to haunt me...). -------------------- "Punk is whatever we made it to be"

Well, yea, this I know but it doesn't hurt to be excited over the excellent play of Miller during that game. I'll rave over this game until the next one begins tomorrow night then yesterdays is an after thought.
